The “L’oasi del lago” B&B is built few meters from the
boundaries of the Posta Fibreno’s lake natural reserve, just
by the feet of the homonymous town of the province of
Frosinone. |

Big springs rise
by the feet of the western “Marsica” calcareous mountain
range, often with huge flows , like the one that form the
lake of Posta Fibreno. The lake is sited about 290 mts above
sea level, and it is nothing but the spring, 30 hectares
wide and up to 45 mts deep, of the homonymous river known as
“the river of Cicerone”, because it lapped on the properties
of the famous roman literary man before flowing into the
Liri. |

The water of the
lake is among the most limpid in Lazio, it springs from the
western layers of the “Marsica” and it houses, such as its
banks, a huge faunal heritage. For those who like diving,

coming from everywhere in Italy every year. The limpidity of
the water and the beauty of the depth, in fact, make of the
lake an enchanting and unique world. |
